Providence Training has extensive experience in developing training courses for delivery to the energy, oil and gas industries throughout South Wales and the UK since 1994.

In the early 1990’s our health and safety training wing, Safety Train, worked with Safety Managers with Conoco, Corus, Murco, Gulf and Texaco to produce the initial Site Safety passport course; this course has since been developed by the CCNSG and is now administered through the ECITB.

In addition, we initially developed the Quarry, Petrol Retail, Food Safety and Pharmaceutical courses for the Safety Pass Alliance.

We employee 3 full time health and safety tutor/consultants, and have formal ties with 6 associate tutors/consultants in Pembrokeshire and South Wales, as well as links with training providers throughout the UK.

All our training and consultancy services are led by a Chartered Member of IOSH/OHSCR recognised consulant with over 20 years health and safety management experience. Our tutors/consultants hold the NEBOSH National General Certificate as a minimum level of qualification, together with relevant health and safety skills qualifications and all havie extensive oil and gas/energy sector experience and are expected to maintain their knowledge of safe working practices being conducted in industry, etc.

Our engineering construction training is accredited by the ECITB and EAL, with welder codings awarded by Oceaneering. Our welding instructor is a registered CSWIP Welding Inspector and has relevant welding and inspection experience within the oil and gas industry. Our pipefitting instructor has exensive practical experience within the oil and gas industry with over 20 years experience in pipefitting.
